I have chosen my favorite red underpainting just for the way it works nicely with blue and grey when I need to paint the dark. Without that I would probably go crazy trying to mix all the shades on my palette, but red underpainting makes the life much easier. Nobleman also seemed not to mind.
I don’t have much time to write because I am exploring the discography of Die Ärzte (and you should too if you don’t know them)
