Oil on Canvas
80×80 cm
This piece of landscape is one of the first paintings I made during the pandemics. I have been working for a law firm at the time, however due to Covid the company lost clients, therefore they put a big number of their workers (including me) on ‘furlough leave’. That meant that we still received our wages from state, but we were forbidden to work. A lot of art has been created during this time. This artwork depicts a landscape from north Czechia and I painted it over the print of Audrey Hepburn which I found was a waste of a good canvas.
The Audrey print was a gift to me from our hippie neighbour, who liked to hord the things from charity shops and then was giving them away in order to gain space in his own home.
Original painting is now in ownership of honorary consul of Brazil in Wales.
