Painting which is extremely special to me on personal level. It depicts a small side pier in Bangor, student city in the North Wales. In the background there is Snowdonia, mountainous national park. The place is wonderful. I moved there after graduation to continue with my studies and I went through a major personal transformation there, which included facing finally my fears and conquering the depression. I also did not have almost any money, therefore this piece has been happily painted on canvas I got from charity store for one pound. It is one of two paintings I made in the period of two years, since there was so much going on that I could not get myself to concentrate on painting. Despite all hardships, Bangor is a fantastic place. It has a feeling of the world of its own.
